Jonas Kaufmann Withdraws From La Scala Recital Due To Illness

The recital was originally scheduled for Saturday 1 June. However, La Scala has just announced that  Jonas Kaufmann  has had to withdraw due to a sudden illness. It has now been rescheduled for the 21 October 2013. Existing ticket holders may use their tickets at that date instead. The full press release reads as follows:

The management of the Theatre deeply regrets to announce that, due to a sudden illness, tenor Jonas Kaufmann has withdrawn from the recital scheduled for Saturday 1 June.

The recital will be performed on 21 October 2013. At the piano Helmut Deutsch.

Recital subscribers will be able to attend the concert on Monday 21 October 2013 by bringing their subscription card.

Tickets can be exchanged or refunded by bringing them to the Central Box Office by Sunday 9 June, from 12 noon to 6 pm.

It will also be possible to send them by post to the Central Box Central Box Office - Galleria del Sagrato, Piazza del Duomo, 20121 Milan, specifying your preference. Refunds or exchanges will be sent at the indicated address.
