I have already gone into some detail about
Wide Open Opera's production of Tristan und Isolde this month - Ireland's first in 49 years (
Click here for the full details including video). However, if you are not lucky enough to get to Dublin to see it, Platform Ireland will be broadcasting the entire performance on the 30 September - live and in video. This will be made freely available internationally. If you have grown tired of many theatrical "interpretations" of Tristan - or simply just fancy a chance - then this production is one worth seeing. With a cast of some import it should be pleasing on the ears also.
