"Anyone know the name of a cheap roofer?"
Katharina Wagner has said in an interview  today that she is worried about the state of Bayreuth. Alas, not about recent productions or their reception but the physical state of the Festspielhaus itself.

Many of you are no doubt aware of this already - the Friends Of Bayreuth discussed this last year, as have others - however, in an interview today Katherina stated that a report on the state of the building and the action needed to preserve it would be published in March. A previous report estimated that 20 million Euros would be needed to fix such issues as a leaking roof, crumbling sandstone facade and the general " dilapidated" state of the building.

In the interview, she announced that the official report will also put forward a plan to raise funds to conduct the repairs.
