Tristan und Isolde: Birmingham CBSO - 3 March 2012

Birmingham (England) seems to be becoming one of the cities to be in for Wagnerian related performances in 2012. Nelsons, Kerl, Braun and Stotin  alone should make an interesting night.

Of course, this  means that  Kerl and Kaufmenn will be in the same city, and outside of the major opera houses, within a fews months of each other. And Braun and Stotijin? Is the "golden age" of Wagnerian singing still "gone"?
